چکیده
Abstract Background Viruses are the main infectious agents of acute respiratory infections in children. We aim to describe epidemiological characteristics viral pathogens tract outpatient Methods From April 2018 March 2019, results detection using oral pharyngeal swabs from 103,210 children with infection department Children’s Hospital, Zhejiang University School Medicine, were retrospectively analyzed. Viral antigens, including adenovirus (ADV), influenza A (FLUA), B (FLUB) and syncytial virus (RSV), detected by colloidal gold method. Results At least one was 38,355 cases; positivity rate 37.2%. total 1910 cases mixed two or more viruses detected, multiple 1.9%. The ADV highest 3–6-year-old group (18.7%), FLUA > 6-year-old (21.6%), FLUB (6.6%), RSV < 1-year-old (10.6%). There a significant difference among different age groups (? 2 = 1280.7, P 0.001). positive winter (47.1%). spring (18.2%). rates (28.8% 3.6%, respectively). autumn (17.4%). seasons significantly 6459.1, Conclusions differ for ages seasons. is preschool period that infants; FLU increases age. winter, as positivity.

Epidemiological and clinical evaluation of children with respiratory virus infections
Background :Respiratory viruses are the leading cause of respiratory tract infections among children and are responsible for causing morbidity and mortality worldwide. This study was performed to detect viruses in children with respiratory infections and describe their epidemiology and clinical characteristics. Methods : In this descriptive cross sectional study, throat swabs and wash speci...

Impact of recently discovered viruses on epidemiology of acute respiratory tract infections (ARTI) is still unclear. We studied the impact of recently discovered human metapneumovirus (hMPV), human bocavirus (HBoV), and new coronaviruses (HCoV-NL63 and HKU1) on the global epidemiology of ARTI. From October 2006 to April 2007, 237 pediatric patients affected by ARTI were enrolled in our study. S...
متن کاملMixed Respiratory Viral Infections in Children with Adenoviral Infections
Human adenoviruses are a common cause of diseases. While epidemic diseases caused by adenoviruses were observed throughout the first half of the 20th century, the viruses were first noted in explant cultures of human adenoidal surgical specimens in 1953; this finding, plus the observation of their apparent general affinity for lymphatic tissue, led to naming designation [1, 2]. More than 50 ser...
